I'm also of the opinion that she has misjudged public opinion, and the loyalty to the Royal family, Liz in particular.
Misjudged UK public opinion, but probably not US public opinion I suspect.
Yeah, could be right. But even then I suspect there's plenty of Tanks who see through her.

I'm looking forward to the minute this bloody interview isn't plastered everywhere. You just know the truth is somewhere in the middle.
The hilarious thing about Americans screeching racism, is that if she wasn't a royal duchess but still an actress, they would happily shit on her. "she's ours! Only we get to criticise her looks/weight/wardrobe/make up/words/partner, damn it!"
-
The irony is that the ex-Royals have cast themselves as the rebels within the Windsor clan and yet it is their ties with the Royal Family and the UK Crown that largely give them their notoriety.
I suspect the interview will be mostly dull stuff (but sleakly packaged) that's already in the public domain.

Meghan claimed Kate made her cry not the other way around.
She says her and Prince Harry married three days before the public wedding. (Think he said this already.)
The most explosive bit is that she accuses members of the Royal Family (unnamed) of being concerned about Archie's skin colour before he was born.
She says Archie had HRH and full security taken from him while she was pregnant . (Not true. I remember it being announced before Meghan was on the scene that Prince Harry's children would only HRH once their grandfather was king)
She claimed that she asked the Palace for medical help because she was feeling suicidal and was denied.
She having a girl.
Harry claims Prince Charles stopped taking his calls.
Harry, perhaps unsurprisingly, hates the UK tabloid press.
Harry feels let down by his father. Harry says his family cut him off financially. -
@sparky I'm not watching, but a fuckton of comments on twitter, and whew. Not sure how the Palace are going to spin out of this one. All the Meghan is a bully stuff looks pathetic next to these claims, plus their complete lack of action against Andrew.
-
@mokey I'm not watching either but summarising what is on Twitter. More explosive and damaging than I was expecting. But these are all claims. I wonder how much of this will stand up once potential eye-witnesses wake up?
I have little doubt that Meghan was the victim of racism in terms of her treatment by some of the UK tabloid press and some of Harry former friends from the days when he used to dress up in a Nazi military uniform for fun. Very hard to know if her description of how Senior Royals treated her are correct or not.

I'm going to call you on your sauce - I'm not convinced that it is reliable. They may just be espousing random opinions.
A bit like here.
Cleaned bowled.

Lots of excited Americans saying this is the end of UK Monarchy.
Seriously? I think two-ex Royals having a go at the other Royals from a Californian mansion, will make the other Royals even more popular to most Brits.
The average Brexiter will probably be furious at these two 'Johnny Foreigners'
Andrew is the one more likely to cause complete carnage...
-
@donsteppa Also not sure it is true. In 2020 Harry was still receving at a million pounds of Duchy of Cornwall funds.
What Harry and Meghan have done is made a very emotional case. Whether it stands up to critical scrutiny and who will care is another matter.

A lot of Americans spouting off with great glee that the Royal family is finished and the Commonwealth will implode, and as per usual they understand jack shit.
I love Americans to bits, but if there is one democracy in the world that really shouldn't be lecturing other democracies any time soon on optimal constitutional arrangements it is theirs.
