Star Wars is as interconnected as any series could be. It’s just the last three movies in the series were a bit below par.

i'll explain what i mean, Marvel has 23 films made continuously over the last 12 years with a single producer. there is just more flow
even if you argued eps 1-6 told a cohesive story, they try too but there are too many problems due to different directors, and the face they were made out of order 20-30 years apart...the last three just dont really connect at all

But if its an Obi Wan series I can’t see him featuring much to be honest just like he didn’t in Rogue One.

Remember it’s a one off series, and with Luke turning up in other shows, I wouldn’t be surprised. Pretty good chance we see Maul too.

Well yeah but like I said, not much. I’m really intrigued with what direction they’ll go. Much as I did like Alec Gunness in the role I think it’s fair to say Ewen McGregor really is Obi Wan.
