Have they randomly allocated provincial players to SR sides? For example, why are Sinoti Sinoti and Sam Giddens in the Crusaders team and not the Hurricanes?

Part of why I posted it here, we could put up better teams. I pointed out three counties players in their Blues teams that could have been in the Chiefs team. Luke Mealamu is in the Highlanders so they must have decided to find a sot for him there.

@mikedogz I assume these players didn't play for a NZ Super rugby team because in the Chiefs team alone Hawera played for the Brumbies and Christie for the Force.

Who is Brice Hendersen? FFS, we can't even dominate the team of players who didn't make the Wellington Hurricanes.

I don't think Johnson actually got a run in a Super match, only preseason.

I've heard of Robbie Malneek (he's a 'rapa boy) and Sinoti Sinoti (played for Samoa)

But I really don;t see the point of this list there a metric fuckloads of players who are provincial players that never played for a super rugby team. Like 99.999999+% of all Wairarapa Bush players, for example

@machpants yeah Malneek, Thompson, Bright and a couple of others. But yes, we can all think of dozens of provincial reps who never played SR.

Interesting seeing Kelly Haimona in the Highlanders list (Rotorua born, Bay of Plenty rep).

Craig De Goldi in the Crusaders list was apparently born in Greymouth, but my vague memories of him (outside of Sevens) was as a BoP and Auckland rep.
