How noticeable hearing goldie talk about the highlanders as something he has no connection too after listening to mertz

Does it matter Merhtz shows his support for the Saders? He is a colour commentator and it's not like he tries to hide it. It's refreshing.

I’d be cool with it if it was even, a colour commentator from both teams so there could be actual banter…as it is it just him taking shots at who ever he like, will add normally I like him but he was a lot more obvious than normal

Maybe it sounded different to you this time because you had a horse in the race? It sounded normal Merts to me.

You can see early why 9-10 are the Blues weakness.

That’s probably fair, did bristle when he tried to take a shot at highlanders fans when it didn’t look like the saders were going to get over the line

You see that muppet covering the wing slip over on his arse about 10 metres from where the ball landed? that bloke gets paid lots to do that.

Christie is terrible at making good decisions from ruck to ruck.

He does, but only to determine how bad of a head injury he has

Interestingly there's been a serious issue with footing ever since they relayed this Eden Park turf.
