Was hilarious listening to TJ last week when the Force scored that late try to deny his beloved Saders the bonus point. The toys were out the cot.

Poor old TJ he do hoped that the force would win and the crusaders would then rightly be in the the final to then go on and win, whilst some would say it's sad that I look upon TJ this way, just think how sad it is to be so involved in rugby that not only do you live and breathe rugby but your so tainted by your bias that even as a "professional" who is saturated by rugby you still get excited at the remote possiblity that Auckland/Blues might lose but then they don't

    Can I please either:

Reckon Blues looking vulnerable. The Clan won't be worried too much. If the Clan front row can stand up to the Blues front row, it is game on.

Fuck off that's a YC - rugby as a game is ruined.

Why not though? Aren't pretty much all high shots accidents?

    No.

    Now you get it.

You're clearly much smarter than me because I have no idea what the fuck point you think you've made.

    Why isn't it a card?

    https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/post/589066

    Already answered that.

    Your answer is wrong.

And yet you can't say why, quelle surprise.

You think you're smart, work it out.

You concede it was unnecessary, reckless and high on a prone player. I worked it out!

I thought you were smarter. You haven't addressed my argument and you're wrong about @Anonymous'

    Here's a clue:

@antipodean you think I know fuck nothing?! I know fuck all!!

What's that a clue to? You've posted a picture clearly showing the bloke that got sconed, in the same position as when he got sconed 🤣

Job done which is all that matters going into next week. Yeah we weren't great in the 2nd half but that's fine, we wanna peak next week when it counts.

Obviously there will be people criticising us and saying this and that about how we're tracking etc. but tbh, a home final of any sort is already a victory for me after the years and years of shit we had to put up with so yeah, I'm stoked for us and how far we've come in the last couple of seasons.

Good luck to the Highlanders next week as well. A great fixture between 2 great sides, may the best team win!

Obscured. Look it up. When Niuia commits to the cleanout his collision is going to be on the player he's targeting.

Which is the guy he's looking and aiming directly at? The prone guy with his head just above the breakdown.

What's he obscured by, any idea? Because the picture you've posted shows a direct line of vision. To be honest I've no idea why you posted it as it completely discredits anything you're trying to say. Unless by obscured you mean the blues player wasn't looking, which would make sense, but again completely discredit what you're trying to say.

Kyle Godwin. The one he cleaned out with his shoulder and directed the overwhelming majority of his momentum at, not the one that copped a glancing forearm.

What's he obscured by, any idea? Because the picture you've posted shows a direct line of vision.

Godwin's arm and Akira Ioane. Watch the vision. With your eyes open this time.

@antipodean incidental head contact happens in a lot of rucks, ludicrous to call this one out.

Made me wonder why there weren’t red cards for Robinson and the Force player when they clashed heads. Both players obviously careless with direct contact to the head…

noticeable how targetted Robinson was- held back and taken out well away from rucks. Got away with it, so smart play I guess, but very obvious

@nzzp Haha watch the opening kickoff. Thrush just tackles Robinson 5 metres away from the ball/ruck.

@nzzp given his breakdown work it makes sense to slow him down or stop him getting there to be effective, so yea smart as they got away with it.

Maybe they think there is a Ginga rule like the Gopperth rule back in the day - free shot?

How funny if that's in the laws?

    9.11
Players must not do anything that is reckless or dangerous to others. Unless that player is a ginga.

Yep, that sounds right, as I clearly remember:

5.2 players must not tackle kickers after they’ve kicked the ball. Unless that player is Jimmy Gopperth.

I think Jimmy Cowan utilised that rule the most.

Yeah I think this makes it obvious and we can all agree on one thing, Australian refs should really undergo eyesight tests before being given a whistle.
