@paekakboyz ideally he will be AB coach by years end...however I am not hopeful given the current international rugby landscape, I expect Fozzie will be extended through to RWC.

    I agree.

Rennie, Joseph and Razor would be a massive step up in who we've got.

    Bloody nzr

    Aussie Dave, nah.

@Stargazer @Chris I didn’t know Brett Cameron was leaving. I knew about the others, but Cameron is actually a surprise.

    I blame Fox.

Had chance meeting with North Harbour Rugby CEO David Gibson today , he confirmed to me that Bryn Hall will be with the Crusaders in 2022, but possibly his last year.

Any thoughts on who might replace him?

Leon's nicked enough players from around the country - we should pinch one back.

Maybe that young bloke who got a couple of games at fullback - whatisname....Zinzan?....No Zarn - that guy. Let's sign him! 🙂

Segner likely to get the vacant loosie spot.

    Thoughts on others?

I am not sure on that first five spot I think it will be a young player from the academy programme.
Maybe Ollie Lewis or Parata from Ta$man.
Zac Gallagher is on the Radar and Segner I expect both to get a contract.

I hear they are just going with 6 props so not replacing Michael A .
That means and extra forward.Maybe Liam Allen some good chat around him.
To replace Matale I would think Timoci Tavatavanawai is a good bet.
The word I hear replacements are coming out of the academies now we have signed Pablo Materea who is a beast.
Luke Donaldson May get the 3rd HB spot as Enari is another one who we may not offer a contract too.

@chris With Havili likely to focus on the midfield, I wonder if they will replace Mataele with a fullback rather than another wing. Which might open the door for Josh McKay?

If the starting midfield was Havili and Goodhue - there would be Ennor, McLeod and Faingaánuku (and Punivai?) as midfield back up.

And Bridge, Reece, Faingaánuku, Punivai, Fihaki, Ennor and Jordan capable of playing wing. I thought we had a bit of excess at wing this year.

But just Jordan - and then Havili and Bridge as possible fullback cover.

That Zarn Sullivan would fit in nicely. 🙂

@chris-b Josh McKay will be playing for Glasgow Warriors.

I prefer Zarn Sullivan as the Hurricanes' new 10! 🙂

@stargazer ZS will definitely be wasted at the Blues! 🙂

@Chris Is Liam Allen an openside? We could probably do with another specialist there.

With Matera, Blackadder, Grace, Segner plus SBarrett and Dunshea we're probably reasonably well off for blindside and 8 options - though Norris and Fox-Matamua are worth a look from Ta$man if they wanted a 6 or 8.

Allen is a 6 we may see Blackadder getting some start time at 7 now The AB's see him as cover there.

I cant see Sullivan moving he would sit behind Jordan at FB and Mounga as a First Five.
The Blues will start him at FB I would think.

@chris He's got a queue of first-fives to get past at the Blues if he wants to end up playing there.

Give him a ring, Razor. He looks like his favourite colour might be red, to me! 🙂

You're all wrong, he should join his brother at the Chiefs. Especially if DMac goes to Japan for a year. It's the best thing for NZ rugby and you poaching/player hoarding b'stards know it.

@nepia ZS is already poached. He should go back to the Canes' catchment, but because I want him in black and white, the Canes might not be the best place for him, considering their HB quota system. So that's a long way of saying I could live with ZS being poached by the Chiefs, although not ideal.
