I'm glad this is becoming a real contest. Tonga looks like another team since the half time break. It won't be enough to win qualification after that big loss in the first test, but it's great to watch.

Nothing unusual for players of mixed heritage.

This is correct. He was invited to the two NZU20s camps, but wasn't named in the NZU20 squads for the 2017 Oceania U20 Championship and WR U20 Championship. So he never played for NZ U20s, but he played for Tonga U20 in 2015 and Samoa U20 in 2016.
