@stargazer really? i didn't know they had a different preseason jersey, was basing it more groups of small stripes but now i look it is different to the pic above

they dont explain what the writing is so not sure if this is just a commemorative jersey of some sort or otago's new one, better than last years either way

Dynasty Sports tell me the Canterbury kit will be available in a couple of weeks. Its a bit stupid that they don't have this available in the lead up to the season starting. I'm heading to Hanmer tomorrow, taking a group of 50, and I know there are a few people who would gear-up if they could including myself.

Champions of the World have the new Canterbury kit (jersey, training tee and polo). Tried it on the other day and just ordered the playing jersey. Much better than last year's but still room for improvement (I'd love to see a collar!)

Collars are gone. If you have a collar you also have to have an opening down the front which creates a grab spot. You also lose some of the performance aspects of the material which is designed to act like a compression top

Yeah I think we all understand why collars are gone, but I'd still love to see it even if it was only on a replica. In saying that, the jersey we lost the RS in last year had a full collar.

@shark thats actually a good point, they do still do them sometimes, otago have had two retro ones in recent years i can remember so its not a deal break to have them

CCC seems to be the supplier who still produces jerseys with collars.
