@mn5 surely Tua goes into the front row, I expect he has probably played rugby too unlike most of them

Yep, see ya Tony Galento. Tua goes straight to prop.

I’d confidently say NONE of the rest have ever played rugby, even the British ones.

I remember Tua saying he used to play hooker in school.

His son plays prop for Grammar TEC. Had a few games for the Blues Dev team a couple of years ago.

    NBA

1- Shaquille O’Neal - the big diesel needed on the engine room of the right 5

2- Charles Barkley - round mound of whatever we need

3- Moses Malone - hard working power forward

4- Dwight Howard - most athletic big man I’ve ever seen

5- Wilt Chamberlain - Wilt the Stilt, best lock nickname going round

6- Denis Rodman - defensive machine, hardest working guy in the team, does all the little stuff, has that edge. A YC possibility

7- Julius Irving - the Dr’s long arms and reach will do wonders at the breakdown

8- David Robinson - athletic lineout option and smart

9- John Stockton - looks like a 70s rugby player, best passer

    10- Michael Jordan - best player at 1st 5

12- Lebron James - can pass, run, score and happy to do ads for the team

13- Scottie Pippen - defensive stopper

11- Kobe Bryant - flat out scorer and a bit of a hungus

14- Allen Iverson - every team needs a small fast scoring winger

15- Steph Curry - quick and he’s the long range goal kicking specialist

Wilt and Dwight are around the 110-120kgs, Yao was 140+, tough on the old lifters, especially when Yao was hardly getting off the ground šŸ˜Ž

    Pro Wrestling

    4 Andre the Giant
    5 Big Show
    6 Warlord
    7 Barbarian

    11 Ultimate Warrior
    12 Haku
    13 Ravishing Rick Rude

    15 Bret Hitman Hart

It’s scary how many units I’ve missed in this team.

Hopefully their wrestling techniques will help those forwards to lift those two gigantic locks.

Big Show's preferred lifter is apparently John Cena.

I know you you went with big name players, but I'd probably pick someone like Shawn Marion at 7.

Maybe Bill Laimbeer at lock ahead of Dwight, although he's a bit of a card risk.

@mikedogz Johnson has to be a back with that hair

Actually quite easy to come up with a proper decent team
    1 Bill Clinton
    2 Winston Churchill
    3 Maggie Thatcher
    4 Jacque Chirac
    5 Gordon Brown
    6 Nelson Mandela
    7 Paul Quinn
    8 Boris Johnson
    9 Chris Laidlaw*
    10 Ben Couch *
    11 Louisa Wall*
    12 Tu Wylie
    13 Graham Thorne*
    14 Tony Steel*
    15 Winston Peters

Aasterisked were all All Blacks. Only Thatcher and Mandela didn't play rugby and Mandela is a Rugby Hall of Fame Inductee

Mandela's highlights on youtube are awesome. šŸ™„

Boris is the least mobile loose forward I've ever seen. Brown is a good pick, he looks like he'd have been a handy dock worker in his youth missing that eye.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was playing 7, but his knees are shot.

Admittedly most of my guys are from the Golden era of WWE, ie the 80s.

Of more recent ilk I’d have to find a spot for Bautista ( who is also eligible for an action hero XV ), Kevin Nash and Goldberg for sure.

Austin had amazing charisma but I reckon all those others were better in the ring than he was.

Nelson di wear #6 to a RWC victory Yeah Happy to swap out Boris but I was trying to pick a team that had all played rugby. I think Brown was actually a back but I know he lost his eye from a kick in a ruck so he'll do at lock
