We can no longer excuse women's rugby players wearing men's kits

We can no longer excuse women's rugby players wearing men's kits

What players wear matters. Rugby kit, from boots right through to shirts, is not unisex. Any female player who has played at grassroots...

@victor-meldrew I thought it was pretty ridiculous - every team down from the top team wears hand me downs - our women's team is pretty good and I remember a few years ago we nicked their kit for a sevens tourney or two as it was bloody primo.

Yeah, I fail to get the connection between poorly fitting kit and poorly fitting kit for female players. There's a sartorial argument but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with gender.

Typical of English rugby...always playing catch-up

@victor-meldrew If the two blue players are props a scrum anywhere near the sideline would see the spectators having to take a few steps backward to make room. If they are inside backs then lord help the yellow scrum!

@bones An argument I support, as long as they can financially support the argument. Is your game generating the revenue to have this disproportionate amount devoted to you?
