Bartlett is in the Chiefs U20s. If they needed a more experienced LH I thought Cobb would be the logical choice.

Also, another game with only 2 back reserves.

Pleased for Josh but surprised at such rapid elevation.

@ARHS All franchises (except the Blues?) have given an U20 player game time. In most cases (the Hurricanes being the exception) that was due to high number of players being unavailable. Highlanders: Fabian Holland; Crusaders: George Bell (scored a try on debut); Hurricanes: Riley Higgins (scored a yellow card on debut).

Has he even played for BOP yet? It will be a big step up from club rugby/U20s, particularly for a prop at scrumtime.

@Stargazer Tuputupu also played for the Canes.

Ah, yes, totally forgot about him! That was definitely a case of other (about 7 or 8 ) hookers being unavailable!

Ah, OK. That was the game in which both teams rested a lot of their top players.

    Chiefs are looking pretty average

After an awesome kick Chase fucks a certain try by being greedy

How can TJ, who’s paid plenty of money to be an expert, not understand when a deliberate knock down is a YC?

His incompetence is then repeated by fans
