Wow, the one guy I thought there's no way he's Maori.

    Why?

    @Frank still why?

Are you saying that gingas can't have māori geneology? Is that your point? Or are you trolling?

Tell that to my very pale skinned, red haired cousin that is a direct descendant of Te Peeti Te Aweawe.

Ever heard of Urukehu? Or remember this guy...?

Also, no one has mentioned the P word yet. Unless he's injured?

Piri? I think he's not available anymore

Grace doesn't even look like a full blown ginga anyway. He's no Christie.

Fully aware of it. Basically it was bit of a joke that you didn't get and you opted to give me a Maori lesson.
    (and it's genealogy, not geneology)
    Cheers bro!

Ok. Obviously didn't spot the joke. Was there a laugh with it?

I know nothing of Suafoa, I'm surprised he's starting ahead of TK who was one of the few bright spots for the Hurricanes this season. Did Suafoa get any gametime for the Blues?

McMillan is saying that they picked the back three with the weather conditions in mind.

“There were some tough selections, probably at blindside flanker [where Blues 2022 debutant Cameron Suafoa has got the nod], and that back-three mix [where star Hurricanes rookie Moorby was a surprise omission] was probably where we had the most discussion,” McMillan noted.

“We anticipate that it’s going to be a bit wet, and so some of our selections have taken that in mind.”

He also says, as mentioned, that Nankivell hasn't trained due to sickness.

Has important other things on his mind. Wearing the number 23 jersey for Hawkes Bay in the Ranfurly Shield defence against South Canterbury if you must know.

    Hawkes Bay Today

Strong line-up for Hawke's Bay's first Shield defence

Well hopefully he's the next Nick Williams or Peter Saili. Heck I'd even take a Chris Lowry.
