I knew the name Anne Heche - by association, but it seems she was famous for being (almost) famous or close to people that were famous. In reading her obits I don't think I have ever seen anything she 'starred' in.

Says a lot about our times I guess. Or me. Or both.

Yeah a look at her film list isn't particularly notable. I agree with your summation

Was going along nicely until Psycho

Then was consigned to bit parts

    I enjoyed the remake

BBC tells me that's because she was a lesbo. How awful.

I don't know how legit it is, but a news piece quoted Heche as saying her relationship with Ellen damaged her career badly

Margaret Urlich dies at the age of 57 following battle with cancer

New Zealand singer Margaret Urlich, best known for her vocals in Daryl Braithwaite's timeless hit The Horses, has died at the age of 57.

    Geez this one hits hard.

No idea she even had cancer. Very hot and did a couple of genuine bangers. Seemed a lovely person too.

    RIP.

I always really liked this one…..

Whoever wrote this piece obviously hated her though ... The Horses ... ????

"Best known for"...? A backup singer on the worstest song ever? She's far better than that

Just Aussies. Always have to make it about themselves. Back in the early 90s it was Shona Laing, Jenny Morris and Margaret Urlich

Sad news. I remember watching a story on TV about Margaret a few years back and she was teaching music/singing to kids in Aussie.

It does go both ways though. When Russell Crowe was winning Oscars he was a kiwi……when he was a fat obnoxious pisshead throwing phones and making shit music he was an Aussie.

It is an Aussie article for an aussie audience so I'll excuse it.

Spent a bit of time around Peking Man back in the day. I used to do roadie/lights/sound for a mates band who often played support for them including a tour one summer. My mate had a mega crush on Mags and made a fool of himself a number of times.
She was a classy woman. RIP Mags.
