@Duluth said in Canterbury v North Harbour:

Very leaky. Some pathetic attempts there

Harbour has a competitive top XV but they don’t have the depth of the other contenders

Good to see Ngnai Punivai back from long covid

Good start by Gardiner strong around the field and 3 line out steals already.

@Duluth very tough for harbour to back up after what was a tough shield challenge on Saturday on saying that the off loading by Canterbury is sensational..could be long night for the harbour boys

Some young players stepping up for Canterbury
Gardiner,Bell and Allen in the forwards

A couple of other players that have been around for a couple of years
Ishia Punivai and McLeod strong in the backs.

Will be interested if the 3 under 20 players get a run Brial,Lam and Rove.

And Murray another young FB/First five

@Chris its a good contest ..12 players with Super Rugby experience in the Canterbury starting line up ..4 in the starting Harbour team with super rugby experience ..i think your doing your boys a diservice calling them a B team

He may have scored a try, but man Heinz is a bit of a handbrake for our attack with his very laboured pass and some dithering at the back.

I had to laugh during that first half when Romano had just thrown a massive harbour bridge pass, and the next ruck he pushes Heinz out of the way to make the pass from the base.

    George Bell building nicely.

McGahan was one of the best for Harbour

Sititi struggled a bit in the first half but got better. Good for his development to be loaned out
