Does anyone know who we will likely face in the quarters, or is it a bit of a lottery at this point?

Wonderful innings Phillips. Very entertaining. Made Sri Lanka pay dearly for the dropped catches

Well after 15/3 that's a good total, but well getable if one of the Sri Lanka s gets going. Early wickets key.

Not sure about a suicide runout to get Sodhi back on strike when Santner just hit one for 6.

Nice innings from Phillips. I think that total will be competitive. Only Phillips looked at all comfortable out there.

Is Foster coaching this crew now?

No. But despite the crazy wet weather in OZ they managed to transport the dry powder from Melbourne to Sydney.

Looks like the dry powder was in a tin labelled Glenn Phillips!!!

Some innings that - and promisingly, there were quite a few balls that completely deceived him. Hopefully, that continues.

No quarters, only semis. We will probably be playing South Africa or India.

Great innings by Phillips. At one stage I thought we were going to struggle to get to 140 there.

Here's hoping that we field a lot better than they did.

If we beat Sri Lanka and Ireland of course.

    Thanks for clarifying.

That was some beautiful bowling by Southee. Set him up perfectly.

Quite a few balls seemed to keep very low.

@No-Quarter A few that he swished at that went over the bat as well.

Looked like the ball was sticking in the pitch at times and pretty two-paced - or even three-paced - and looks like the Lankans might be finding that out.
