    It's a racing industry phrase.

    Maybe "the horse guy" has infiltrated ARU after all...

    It's been used in the NRL for years (even before the actual horse racing guy became boss of the comp).

    I just thought it was an Aussie way to hype a youngster up.

    Laurie Fisher gone -

    @LordLaurie58
    Disappointed to not be continuing the journey with the
    @wallabies
    thru to the World Cup. Will play my part by ensuring all
    @BrumbiesRugby
    players are in a program that maximises their progress & development to be the best they can be. Enjoyed the brief opportunity.

    Brumbies fans are bewildered by this. In their minds Laurie is the bestest coach ever.

    Doesn't matter though. Eddie is the head coach and he changes assistants as often as undies. Pretty sure he was like that when he was Brumbies coach too so the fans shouldn't be bewildered at all

    You don't understand the size of the chip they carry. Reminiscent of Atlas' punishment.

    Oh, I do! Believe me I do!
    4 years residence in Canberra dealing with people whose rugby cred was seemingly self-judged by the number of Brumbies caps in the back window of the car.....
    Do they still froth at the mouth when Andre Watson is mentioned?
    BTW I don't include (most) Vets players in this bracket.
