@NTA Other thing is maybe someone from press actually asked Marinos a question , and Hamish wants to make sure that noone else speaks about game?

It seems like Eddie is running Oz rugby anyway so they may as well not bother appointing a CEO.

But it is intriguing as to why he's leaving, I wonder if we'll ever find out?

"Did the answer attack Peter V'Landys? No? Then you're FIRED!"

No one gets on with McLennan it appears.

Well that doesn't surprise me when thinking about how he conducted himself over Super Rugby Pacific ...

He isn't eligible for France. He can go to Aussie as he was born there.

There may be an avenue for France via 7s (if he holds nationality) but hasn't he stated that he is available for Oz?

I am pretty sure that new rule says you can only go to another country that you have a clear link with. Unless he has french ancestry he can't play for France.

The World Rugby Council has approved an amendment to the sport’s regulations governing national team representation that will now permit an international player to transfer once from one union to another subject to demonstrating a close and credible link to that union via birthright.

Out of touch, that was released Nov 2021. 3 year stand down and you can play for another country that you/parent/grandparent has been born in. Can't play for another country on residency tho.

Piutau, Moala, Folau have already used it, for example. They don't want to upset their pay masters, so haven't played much. But no other games on during RWC, so I think we will see a lot more
