Also shows how poor a lot of NZ Super Pacific backs are at choosing / reading and running good lines

Crusaders far too good. Look bigger and a lot more skillful.

24-6 ht. Force are trying hard though and keeping the score in check but expect crusaders to run away with it in the 2nd half

WJ looks a bit rusty at times but his class is evident. Crusaders are a different beast with an attacking weapon at fullback.

10s who don't find touch from penalties.......should be made to run laps

I think that's one of the Fern things that is lagging behind the coaching.

You've got to penalty line-kick with ambition and if you miss occasionally, then suck it up. In particular, it's massively valuable if you can kick to give yourself a lineout 5 metres out. It's way better than conservatively making sure of a kick 15 metres out that gives you no opportunity to drive for a try from the subsequent lineout.

But even with others, you've got to show ambition rather than excessive safety.

That being said, I didn't really register the missed kick - I think it was the Force?

Force are being allowed to be offside a lot.... their defensive line is regularly not getting back onside..... but you play to the officials I guess

The threat Will Jordan offers is almost night and day to Fergus Burke - drawing defenders and opening gaps.

15 metres out gives you no opportunity to drive for a try? Rubbish.

@KiwiMurph Five metres is vastly better in terms of probability of success.

I don't have him so much as a hungus, as someone who seems to go to ground much too easily when he does have a go.

Depends how you define it. He's never going to make it so pass

I think the only thing we'll learn from this fixture is Cron made an error taking the Force coaching role.

Don't see the point of continuing to play well past the 80th minute when you are so far ahead. Only risk getting injured. Kick the ball out and take the win.
