@Frank his team lost in the semifinal to the crusaders and last year lost the final when they were minor premiers.
And were well beaten. No complaints. Plenty of disappointment.

Perhaps pakman was making some loose association with the final being a joke (not my words) but really the Crusaders play if anything a little too seriously, the jester tag seems weird attached to them.

It comes from a song, that I think goes something like this....
