Never having won a knock out RWC game and having to face either the home team France or the ABs in a quarter might have something to do with it......
Does it matter who you face in a QF? NZ/France are going to have equally tricky opposition and it hasn't affected their odds.
Certainly got a point on the lack of knockout victory, but 5/1 compared to NZ France odds just seems wrong to me.
Kinda related, but have to mention my only issue I have with winning or losing v France is the nagging fear we could lose v Italy.

I don't understand why they aren't in breach of 14.8c

Offside lines are created at a tackle when at least one player is on their feet and over the ball, which is on the ground. Each team ís offside line runs parallel to the goal line through the hindmost point of any player in the tackle or on their feet over the ball. If that point is on or behind the goal line, the offside line for that team is the goal line.More generally, when was the last time you saw innovation like this from NZ teams? Feels like we are reacting to the world these days, not innovating with new ideas, systems or loophole exploitation

The short passing amongst the forwards this season has been great to watch - a wonderful change from the overdone pod system.

I though Henry or Hansen bought a version of it back from the NH? Crusaders created one of the patterns (2-4-2 I think?)
Hard to imagine pods going away, maybe different splits?

You just wait until they replace ALB with DMac and have a 5-2 split, so that we finally achieve a whole backline of first fives and wings.
