    @Tim staggering i did not see this coming , i know the team were very flat after the Southland result and given the injuries it was going to be a massive task taking on a very good mako team
    but the way they started set the tone and that defensive effort was next level.
    Easily the best 80 minute Taniwha peformance i have seen in a very long time.
    Injuries are still a concern but confidence is an amazing thing
    Great day alround with the Auckland boys getting back on the horse.
    Happy 80th birthday to Super Sid Going
    And congrats to John Leslie on his first win as an NPC coach
