Why did they take Jacomb off? He’s been the best player on the park for Taranaki.

Taranaki more deserving of making the final based on their season.

    Good game.

Good to see George Bell show his potential - lad just needs to stay injury free.

Proved to be a turning point. We didn't have the ball for ages after that mistake and Naki went on to get a penalty.

I know it was Drummy's 99th but he was gassed and should've been hooked.

Well done Naki. Now go on a win this thing

After saying that JRK is better at fullback he often seemed unsure whether to kick or run when getting the ball deep.

F*** me I really enjoyed that game. Weather was good, and was a bit of a cliffhanger, BUT THE GOOD GUYS WON!!!!!
Genuinely a good night, wasn't overly cold, and even Mrs Dan was out of seat yelling and cheering and covering her eyes when there Perofeta was taking last kick as it put us back out to 7 point lead.
And the best thing was, an affirmation that ours is a game you watch live for max enjoyment
I will say MOTM was without doubt Jacomb to me, he was very good, and if someone not waving a super contract (C'mon Canes) in front of him, they missing a trick. (though I could see him being worthwhile for the Clan)

This Jacomb guys looks like a talent.

    Ffs Ricky

Haven't watched much NPC, but what is Jacomb's story.

Has he been playing like this all year, or was last night a one off?

    He usurped Potroz?

@booboo I haven’t seen too much of him either but he’s been talked up a bit. I watched last night to see what the fuss was about and I was very impressed with the way he played for such a young guy.
