    Rona is a big unit. He's had a very good 2023 SR season. I hope he won't be affected by the second year syndrome.

    Aisake Vakasiuola looks to be training with the Chiefs so could be one of the NDC players. Some old fella is there too!

    Oli Mathis is in this video, another NDC player?

    Edit: Will Martin is also there.

    I thought Oli Mathis had signed for the Crusaders? Was that said on the NZ Schools coverage? Obviously not true regardless.

    Feeney was in charge of transition attack and kick strategies.

    It's great to keep these guys involved.

    Messam is in most of the pre-Xmas training videos, usually during boxing drills.

    Hopefully the Development team gets to play more games.

    This made me laugh.

    “Shaun Stevenson has been my little project the last couple of weeks, just making sure he’s pushing the right amount of tin and he’s not taking any shortcuts,” Messam says.

    “He always makes sure that he doesn’t have eye-contact with me, I always pull him aside. But he’s been impressive the last couple of weeks, I think he might have hit a PB.”

    @cgrant said in Chiefs 2024:

    Thompson is among the players so he did not sign for a NRL club ?

    I think the rumour was that he signed a one year NRL contract that starts in 2025

    @Duluth He agreed to terms. If he is in All Black contention does that mean he can get out of it?

    Can they go one better? The big questions for the Chiefs to answer in 2024

    Can they go one better? The big questions for the Chiefs to answer in 2024

    While former co-captains Sam Cane and Brad Weber are not part of Clayton McMillan’s squad for 2024, the Chiefs’ have been touted as one of the 2024 favourites.

    A loose forward combination of Finau, Jacobson, Parker (6, 7, 8 ) could be pretty handy.
