this here proves you have no fucking clue. I do not agree to disagree because you are wrong.

Just quietly exit the league thread.

You obviously have no clue if you think both of those tackles are the same.

@bayimports it's happened in most of the games I've watched this year. I've seen four incidents in 2024 alone that absolutely warrant questioning but were never even looked at.

this is not recent fact at all, not in the last couple of years. With TV coverage and independent doctors. You might see someone walk around groggy but they're always getting picked up, if not directly after incident, within the next few minutes and assessed.

how many games this year have been decided because a back has been ruled out for concussion that looked like nothing?

So I just watched the clip to see what you lot are arguing about.

First look, Walsh looked to be slipping down ... I wonder if that would be mitigation enough to ensure a yellow in rugby?

@mariner4life difference between a player launching at a guys head (Joseph) and a player positioning himself at a low position and then collecting a guy that is dipping (Tuputupu on Vaa'i).

    LOL

    Reece wasn't dipping?

Tuputupu deliberately drove upwards in his tackle action.

FYI Grade 2 Reckless (not careless) High Tackle 1st Offence approximate range 4-5 matches, apart from Reece appearing to be slipping before contact, I doubt there is little reduction from that range

lol how good is Nate Myles giving Sua'ali'i a spray as he walked off? Origin is still great entertainment

Come on Tigers, just gone up 10-0 over the Dragons.

On a side note, Solomon Alaimalo is on the wing, playing his 2nd or 3rd game I think..for those in the know is he there on merit, or because of injuries?

Haven’t seen much of him yet.

@Gunner He's ok, first grade standard but nothing more than that.

Had a very poor night along with the rest of his Tigers teammates tonight. Was an embarrassing effort from them.

I think it depends on when it happened in rugby

Couple years ago they were ultra strict on head contact, instant red
    Lately seeming more lenient

But in this case, straight shoulder to the head, no wrap, has to be red in either sport.

Apparently no wins in Townsville since 2002 without SJ, let’s see if that continues

Feels like our night. Berry fields his own spill to score under the dot, that ball could have gone anywhere. Cowboys fumbling again deep in their half

The boys should buy lotto tickets, what a miraculous pick up by Dallin. And the ref gives it without going upstairs, unusual where the Wahs are concerned

Ref has lost his shit. Sent Tevita Harris off for dropping the ball onto Chad Townsend's head, and sent Townsend off for escalating another little skirmish. Then tried to penalize the cowboys for a good hard tackle on Montoya, Cowboys overturn with a challenge

Another miracle try. Dallin bats a CNK grubber back into play from the end line for CNK to score. The Wahs win the lotto in Townsville

6-36 with 10 to go, the NQLD try was against the run of play. What a shellacking

The starch that was missing early season is well and truly back, absolutely dominant through the middle and in complete control
