The Great Fail: Death of Atari
Interesting listen...is ep 11, but havent listened to any of the other ones where they chart the demise (LA Gear, Google Glass)

@Nepia @jegga
Dolly Partons America, based solely on your recommendations, cos you know what, it sounded a bit lame, but was bloody good!I also enjoyed the origin info about instruments and music and how it was a mish mash of styles.
Even the little bit of back story of the guy that did the pod cast was fascinating!
As for 4 million people a year visiting Dollywood, WTF!
-
@taniwharugby Yeah, it is surprisingly good. I was the same as you before listening.
Just finished S1 of Gangster Capitalism, the one about the uni scandal. Really interesting, but his podcasts Peter out in the end. It’s not bad but they just finish.

MIssing in Alaska
Alaska 1972, 2 Congressmen vanish on a small plane, with speculation about a mob hit as well as to do with ties to the Croatian War.
Only about 4 eps in, is pretty good.

Is that date correct?
-
@Nepia my bad, typed war, so no, wrong...but had Croat links (was a letter a widow supposedly received from some defunk Croat linked group claiming responsibility for the plane going missing)
Is some interesting plane stuff too, that I expect @Snowy and @Machpants would find even more interesting.

American Skyjacker - the tale of Martin 'Mac' McNally who attempted to get away with $500k after hijacking a plane, about 4 eps in, good listen.
The Bomb - which is the story of Leo Szilard who flees Nazi Germany and discovers how to use Nuclear power to make a bomb, only listened to 1 ep, but seems promsing

The Plot Thickens
Peter Bogdanovich story -
Wow.
Obviously very long but incredibly enlightening and actually an endorsement of blm, the actual concept, not the political power grab.
2 blokes who work to help wrongfully convicted people in USA. Also shed light on the most ridiculous justice system in the history of mankind.
They had Joe rogan weeping
Wow.
