A Good Day To Die Hard
In summary: ridiculousness.
In detail: much better when there was no dialogue excluding any line containing the word "motherfucker".
So explosions. Many death. Much crashes.
3 yippe-kai-yays out of 5
I'm not too keen on the original Die Hard so can safely say there's absolutely zero chance I'll be watching this. I found Bruce Willis a bit of a joke as an action hero which is odd considering he's one of the best things in Pulp Fiction in my opinion.
What the actual fuck?

@jegga Doesn't like the legendary Die Hard, but likes him in a movie where he gets bound and balled ready for the gimp. Who woulda thought.
Haha, gold.
Seriously though, rates James "camper than a row of tents " Bond over Bourne too? -
Awesome!

Favreau did an amazing job on Jungle Book. This should be cool.

@Mokey I just saw the trailer to that Bridget Jones movie and on the strength of that I'd have to say I'd rather emasculate myself with a rusty gin trap than sit through the rest of it . Also some other actress appears to be playing Zellwegers role now. What's up with that?
Anyway just saw Sully. Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, I dont think I need to say anymore . 5 roasted and shredded Canada Geese out of 5.
Vanity fair have written an excellent article about the story http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2009/06/us_airways200906
Also Canada geese can fuck right off, they shit every ten minutes, breed like rabbits and bring down airliners.

I finally got to see "The Dark Knight Rises" last night (only what, 4 years after the fact?). I didn't have much in the way of expectations, because I seem to remember it receiving a luke-warm reception, and that was after I found "The Dark Knight" to be wildly over-hyped.
And i can see why Batman fans weren't blown away, given Batman is only one of the main characters.
But I thought it was awesome. Bane is a fucking great villain. JGL was really good i thought. I just thought it was a fucking great fun action movie.
Anne Hathaway's ass was positively Trinity-esque in that suit. Seriously, that woman has a fucking smoking body, but there is something wrong with her face.

@mariner4life have you seen this? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havoc_(2005_film)
There's a scene like the Shue gif with added bean flicking . -
oh yea, I've seen it. She's not shy about getting the girls out. Fucking good on her
NSFW obviously

Great stuff, it's been a couple days since we last had a gif showing top class talent playing with their nips.

I watched X-Men: Apocalypse the other night. I could watch the scene with Quicksilver (wearing his RUSH t-shirt) in the Xavier mansion over and over again. A great homage to the 1980s in this movie too with the music in that particular scene, and the mall visit.

I thought Bane fucken shat all over the Joker as a villain. A big intimidating guy with a scary ( but easy to imitate voice ), cool looking mask, memorable lines and who gives the Batman an absolute hiding when they first fight vs a scrawny weed with makeup who sticks his tongue out ?
No comparison, of course seeing as Heath Ledger died right after the movie was released people are gonna wank on about him being the best villain in the history of movies cos everyone always talks a person up after they're not here. Please......Neeson was better than him in the first one too......

@MN5 yea he was great, bad ass as fuck. fucking big too
He's a bit of a midget so I think the camera angles flattered him quite a bit but a great bad guy. Still reckon the first of that series is the best by far overall though.

Had some really bad story issues, which they solved with "He's Baaaatman". How did he get back from the hole with no money? How did he fix his broken back with fucking pressups? What happened to his dicky knee?
People in movies never need money. Hannibal Lecter escaped from jail and went on the run and lived like a king.
As for the rest exercise and painkillers work wonders.

@MN5 I watched all 3 Nolan Batman movies in order again recently.
I would rate them: The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins. So basically the complete opposite of how I rate them then.....TDK was still a really good flick though. Must do a binge watch, looks pretty rainy this weekend so could be a goer.....
