Just finished re watching "You're the worst" American sitcom - about the lives of two self destructive types. Basically, drugs, alcohol, sex, while trying to deal with life.
Aya Cash (lead actress) also joining "The Boy's" season 2, her quote of "shut up and lazer my tits" in the promo is probably something her character would say in the above sitcom.
Available in Aus on SBS.
worth watching if you like that sort of shit
I like the first couple of seasons when it was actually a sitcom, then found it turned into less of a sitcom and more of a not that good a drama so I checked out. She's nice to look at though.

Finished this and I felt the 10 episodes had too much "personal battles/ stories" in it and not enough footage of people competing in the various legs.
Apparently NZ is pretty good at these sorts of challenges.
I did have a wry smile on my face when watching one particular team give up. Spend enough time in fields where people have to do uncomfortable feats of endurance and you recognise the difference between the mind and body giving up.

@MN5 on a similar note, chucked Fawlty Towers on in the background while playing Uno on holiday with the in laws. Shit it's good and surprised it's still allowed to air...his shock at seeing a black doctor 😂
A Waldorf Salad sounds fucken horrific.

Started "The Loudest Voice in the Room" which is Russell Crowe in a fat suit (i think) setting up Fox News. Its actually pretty bloody good, and in a boon for me, only 7 episodes.
Contains the best line i have heard in a TV show in ages
"people don't want to be informed, they want to feel informed"
fucken aye Russ
finished this last night (the wife has been away)
Good show. Tough watch at times. Russ is really really good in this roll, as in most if I'm honest.

I've finally started on a re-watch of the original Battlestar Galactica in glorious 4:3 aspect ratio and with late 1970s SFX. There are 21 episodes so this will take a while.
i loved that show.

I remember watching it when it was first shown in NZ, or maybe a rerun in the early 1980s, but I don't think I've seen it since then. So ~40 years.
It was shown on Orange (Sky channel in the UHF days) in the mid 90s, we used to watch it on a Wednesday in my student flat before going to the pub.
I also remember that the follow up series Battlestar Gallactica 80s (I think it was called) was available as a series of movies at the video store in the late 80s. Wasn't that good as most of the characters weren't in it and it was kid focused with kid characters. The kids could speed read. There was one good episode, it was the one where Starbuck is stuck on a planet with a Cylon. A BSG version of Enemy Mine/Hell in the Pacific.
Not sure I could watch it now due to the episodic nature of the show.

I'm watching them for nostalgic reasons.
I have the 21-episode Battlestar Galactica TV series, Mission Galactica TV movie (which includes some of the former series episodes) and then Galactica 1980. That will keep me busy.

Succession.
I'm into the 3rd episode and can't make up my mind. Is it a dramedy? Seems like a naff version of House of Lies.
It's better

@MiketheSnow really? I'll try and stick with it...
