Only just realised when flicking through the TV guide to record the Bled game, that the Craps are in India and about to start an ODI series.
FFS, I rely on the Fern to keep me up to play with these things. The cricket swots out there are failing us! -
@crucial Basically no test cricket for us ever so who cares?

If this board is a reflection of the public level of interest in the game then NZC have fucked up badly. A handful of meaningless ODIs and T20s each summer will quickly lose what little appeal they have if the public aren't watching profile players. The levels of interest from kids especially will wane and if kids aren't interested then parents also lose incentive to be interested.

Definitely "crickety stuff"
I notice Napier Tech Old Boys defeated their opponents by 355 runs after they scored 369 batting first in a forty over match yesterday. Perhaps something untoward like a slight shower during the break between innings might have freshened up the pitch somewhat. It could have been worse had not extras contributed over 33% of the defeated team's total.

I still claim the lowest innings score I know of ...
All out 9. I opened and went first ball. Clean bowled by Richard Hilton-Jones who later played rugby for Northland.
Kaitaia College 3rd and 4th Form Black v Kaitaia College 3rd and 4th Form whatever colour they were ...

All out 9.Can beat that in my time for the Warialda Junior Cricket competition. Don't even remember what team I was playing for - it was basically a competition based around the nearest town (1300 people) with 6 sides in the "B" comp (6-12) and 4 in the "A" comp (12-17). You got allocated into a team and played with kids from all over the shire, about 5000 square km.
We were told to go easy on their younger players by our coach (my Dad) in the early morning, and they offered us no such luxury. I opened - first and last time - and got done second ball by one of the local high school's best athletes. It didn't get much better from there.
All out for 7.

@booboo I didn't see it.
I was 11 I think, but had made the town U12 team by that stage, so...

I have umpired a game that ended up about 20 all out.
When the outs include a few LBWs there are some shitty parents and comments to deal with afterwards.
