-
sports, bodybuilding quotable quotes - there are millions, lets re hash them here..<br />
<br />
thinking of tee shirts - to get the ball rolling, a few of my favourites...<br />
<br />
PAIN IS JUST WEAKNESS LEAVING YOUR BODY<br />
<br />
PAIN IS NOT AN OBSTACLE <br />
<br />
ITS OK TO FAIL, ITS NOT OK TO GIVE UP<br />
<br />
YOU CAN'T OUT-TRAIN YOUR DIET <br />
<br />
TRAIN NOW - TALK LATER (this one after wathcing a guy at the gym walk around and talk all fucking morning while everyone else is training)!!!! -
"When I'm lifting weights its like I'm having an orgasm...."<br />
<br />
Arnie said words to that effect in "Pumping Iron" if I recall correctly. Whether you want it on a T shirt is another matter... :shock: -
I heard a good one the other day about Bodybuilding.<br />
<br />
bodybuilding is not about how much you can bench press, it's about how much it looks like you can bench press -
"Arnold Is Numero Uno" the end!
-
yeah, there is only one Arnold. If you get the chance, read his BB encyclopedia. Is wicked.

My mate is the biggest Pumping Iron fan ever. We got "Arnold is Numero Uno" t-shirts done for his Stag. Still one of my favourite t-shirts.<br />
<br />
He even got "Mum is Numero Uno" t-shirts done for his mums Tangi. I said he was the biggest fan...<br />
<br />
I have Dr Franco Columbu book kicking around somewhere. Need to read that one day. -
Anything Ronnie Coleman says is funny because of his Mike Tyson high pitched voice not matching his alien body "light wieght.. light wieght.. ain't nothin but a peanut"<br />
<br />
<br />
Agree re the Encyclopedia of BB. <br />
I've had it for a few years and it's brilliant for the exercise descriptions.. although there a couple of dubious things in there where he talks about spot reduction on the abs and apparently his advanced programs are well beyond what a non juiced person can do (or can Bartman do those now??) -

I like the Coleman quote after an insane squat where he sat down, wiped his brow and said "That ain't a light weight". Was funny as in context with all the mantras "light weight, light weight". Add in the trainer with the denim cut off shorts, looking like a character from arrested development, and it was a great documentary. Highlight was seeing him getting kitted up in his Police uniform, must have made some criminals shit their pants.<br />

as good squat quote.<br />
<br />
Q. What do heavy squats build?<br />
<br />
A. Character.<br />
<br />
to follow any of those advanced programme things would cost you an arm and a leg in natural supplements, let alone juicing up! And you'd not be able to be working either! -
I love this one,<br />
