Well they just rebooted Kirk and Spock, so Khan is no different.

True Kirwan. There is no more iconic TV/Film character than Capt Kirk. So why should it be different with Khan when It worked so well with a rebooted Kirk.
I like, not bad at all. I hope JJ Abrams does do Khan for the next one, one of my favourite movies The Wrath of Khan.<br />
<br />
It would be good to do a new version of the TV episode since they are in a new universe now.
<br />
<br />
Would be hard to have a fight scene this awesome though:<br />

I've always been a fan of Kirk's "bowling for bad guys" moves. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />

Razbra, wipe your mouth out. The fight with Gorn is a sci fi classic. He made a gun from a bamboo stick and shit he found lying around! He's ACE!

And this is why, no matter how much i love Star Trek, i will never be considered a trekkie <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I would totally watch the shit out of a new Star Trek tv series. Set it after Voyager, put Nathan Fillion in the crew, and let the direct-to-DVD glory ensue. They could persue the story intended for TNG that was torpedoed by Gene Roddenbury - a cabal within an increasingly oppressive Star Fleet executing a military coup. The Federation as a prosperous soft/stealth fascist empire. Absolutely no Joss Whedon involvement would be tolerated.<br />
<br />
It wouldn't be as good as a Michael Ironside-Kurtwood Smith (whom I once referred to as Lockwood Smith) buddy cop show though.<br />
<br />
ps. Absolutely no "kick ass chick" characters.

The slapchop autotune is indeed a modern day classic. The Carl Sagan/Stephen Hawking one is pretty cool too.<br />

Heh, Stephen Hawking is currently working next door to me (Perimiter Institute). Apparently Her Majesty 'Liz will be swinging by in a couple weeks too. That'll be a security nightmare. Three times over the past few years I've not been able to even get my car out of the parking lot 'cos Prime Ministers make surprise visits and security locks the place down. I imagine it's a pretty sad indictment about me that I'd get more excited if Vince the ShamWow SlapChop guy paid a visit than either Hawking or QE2, but, wellll, it's kinda true. Time for me to move...<br />
<br />
Love Carl Sagan, though.

Maybe he has a label printer or something? It'd be pretty cool if it spelt out his name phonetically in accordance with his voice synth.
