    What's the haps Nelson (@Chris-B)

Beautiful day where we bat first and set 335 for them to have another go at?

@hooroo Not the best day of summer, forecast unfortunately. The sun is shining at present but there's a few murky clouds around and there's showers expected in the afternoon.

We should get most of a game - hopefully all - but, if there's an advantage to batting second in a reduced overs situation then we might be advised to take that advantage.

Should be a bit of swing around for bowlers!

Inzi's nephew pulls Boult straight to Munro at midwicket

5/1 and into the 5th over!

A bit of swing early, but not that hard.

Does he hate running as well?

There's just no stopping Timmy at the moment. What a champ.

    Inspiring batsman too.

Shaoib tries one too many straight drives for six off Astle and holes out to Timmy - the world's safest hands!

A big one from either opener and looks like the weather won't even be a factor at this stage.

Yup, we've got a really decent bowling unit this summer. Great balance with two swing bowlers, one express pace and two spinners that can put the squeeze on in the middle overs. Not easy for batsmen to settle against us.

Quick bouncer hits the splice of Ashraf's bat going for the hook, gone burger. Been another clinical display in the field.

Astle should never have been bowling at the death. And he or Munro needs to bowl one more over. I think needing to make up two overs at the death was a too much of a risk, Astle or Munro should have bowled one more over. Probably munro should have bowled a third rather than Boult coming back after Astle got Shoaib Malik.

@cyclops Yeah - there was probably a gamble that we would bowl them out, which hasn't come off.

Ominous for them that their tail is scoring easily, but they have got an attack that can pressure us by taking wickets.

Yeah I get the gamble and I like it but bowling Astle at the death in the power play was only going to go one way. Kane either needed to squeeze in one more over earlier or hold his nerve longer so munro bowled 47/49 or 48/50

Pakistan with slightly more backbone than the Windies, dreadful start to their innings but they've managed to put some runs on the board for their bowlers to set up an interesting chase.

If Munro gets going again it won't be competitive for long, but early wickets and she's all on.

While reminding myself this is the Black Caps we're talking about and trying to keep it real I truly believe we should chase this down without too much trouble.

The great benefit of having Little Kane in the team is that you don't really have a twinge of anxiety until he gets out.

    @mn5

Complete with no pinch hitting in the opening 10 overs and the bowlers having a slog at the death.

Still about 60-70 more than we should have let them get though. Good rally from the Pakistan lower order though.

True but that's almost taking away from the other quality players we have in the team.

@Cyclops only keeping an eye on the game via cricinfo but sounds like the lower order really did a job. More than the Windies managed.
