Great news, he’s the obvious successor to Ryan Crotty at 12 when Jordan takes over at 15

Good. I'm also sure that he has a few more black jerseys in him, if he plays well.

@act-crusader he hadn’t signed anything before today. Think he’s talking to a couple. The squads are named this week aren’t they

@chchfanatic last year's NZ Super squads were announced on 1 November. So I'd assume something similar this year.

Depends on whether we've signed All Black Mike Delany.

With Richie solidifying as a world class first five and Mitch Hunt a more than able back-up, it's probably time to move to developing the next young guy - especially since he's entering the AB frame!

Hopefully, they can keep Delany ticking in club rugby in ChCh so we can call him up if necessary.

Wonder if Razor has signed Reuben O'Neill - we need a new loosehead... 🙂

....and someone to replace big Seta?

O'Neil has a super contract but not with the Crusaders according to this article [link text](link url)https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/provincial/107886717/new-all-blacks-prop-reuben-oneill-had-an-inkling-selection-could-be-on-the-cards

@chris Seems like Razor has Brett and Mike Delany in his frame as well, so I guess it's all wait and see. A few other comments about Heiden Bedwell-Curtis, as well.

@chris-b I would expect in depend on wether Cameron is keen to sit behind the Crusaders First Fives

As I see it we need another Open side flanker. Bedwell-Curtis or Harmon
    contracted LFs. Read,Douglas,Taufau,Sanders,Blackadder,Todd all signed

@chris Harmon or Jed Brown as backup 7? Maybe Sione Havili after his stint at Ta$man?

@chris Dunshea might be part of that loose forward equation as well - i.e we can sign two of those three - Dunshea, HBC or Harmon? (Jed Brown possibly in the equation as well).

I'm inclined to think we'll have re-signed the obviously useful people like Luke Romano, Quinten Strange, Will Jordan and Manasa Mataele, who were on the lists of Off-Contract or "Contract Status Unknown" at the start of the thread.

Jone Macilai perhaps more under threat.

So maybe decisions on a loosehead prop (for Crockett), loose forward (as above), midfield/wing utility (for Seta) and wing (for Macilai and could be him).

@chris He'd be mad not to go. Their kicking style of play would suit him as well.
