        Should've backed Taranaki.

haha listening to RS on the way home and earlier in the week they had spoken to Jarrad HOeata about the upcoming match and he reckoned he was gonna target Parsons and the skinny fat guy at fullback...they asked him what that meant and he said it was a guy that looks like he is an athlete and should be ripped but looks like a bag of mince!

They asked him if now they had lost the shield and pretty much nothing to play for would he niggle more, to which Parsons responded 'more niggle?'

@taniwharugby Haha, niggle is his middle name! But you'd expect a lot of this banter, with Hoeata having played for Harbour last year.

@stargazer yeah was all good natured, HOeata didnt come across as much of a boofhead as he does on the field.

He reckoned Parsons will need a helmet and 2 mouthguards!

I did love the comment about Stevenson being a 'bag of mince' tough!

Think it started about 1727 on RS, but was actually a good interview with Razor about 1710 as well

                  Harbour up 29 - 7 after 30 mins.

                  What was Duffie's injury?

Taranaki are the prime candidate for relegation.

Tevita Li scored five tries for North Harbour against Taranaki last year at Albany.

Can he do it again this year? Currently on four.

Seriously guys we're talking up Bryn Gatland? The guy is journeyman at best.

@african-monkey might be a journeyman, but as a Blues supporter I would rather have more convincing back up to Otere Black than Perofeta who has terrible game management..not a case of talking a player up it’s about having a player that does most things right...

@steven-harris Plummer should really make a strong case for the Blues matchday 23. He will push Perofeta. Knowing the Blues though one or both of them will get injured.

@steven-harris Perofeta did struggle at times last season but he has far more upside than Gatland and ideally would have been coming off the bench last season but ended up starting. I'm convinced that he'll have far more impact next season coming off the bench providing Black stays fit.

@KiwiMurph I was very impressed with Plummer at 12 the other night. The kid has a massive future at 10/12 as he can not only run a game but isn't scared going into contact both on attack and defence.
