Can't see the Rebels winning this because I can't see the Rebels winning anything. Also Canberra gets a terribly hometown bias in refereeing - as a neutral in almost every game I go to.*
*Well, a neutral who always wants the Brumbies to lose.
-
@antipodean Lealiifano at 10 is a big handicap for any team though.
-
-
That's actually not a bad Rabble team. But it screams "journeyman" when the big minutes are on.
I'll be parked on the couch watching this via Kayo Sports which so far has shown itself to be fairly good.

He's opposing Quade...

I've found the quality of the stream to be good so far - need a big league match to see how it handles high usage though.
The interface annoys me though - the live Fox streams are down the bottom, and the Mysports section is never on top, so I continuously have to wade through soccer, cricket and AFL to find the two sports I've selected as my favourites.

I'd consider it if they had an android tv app. Still no 4K streaming though which is a joke.

They're meant to be releasing an Android tv app. I've been testing it on a Chromecast 2 or 3 (not 1080p) and it's actually been fine on my tv at 720p. I'll upgrade to the Chromecast Ultra if I keep Kayo though.

I'm using my old bog standard Chromecast and it has been a bit twitchy if I'm streaming anything "Live" from the phone. That is due in part to my shitty NBN tho, and a 3 other people who don't respect my need to have the entire bandwidth to myself.
If I pause it for ~5s and then let it play it sorts itself out and the quality is fine.

I'm going to use my laptop this weekend when streaming the live games and see whether it has any issues.
I'm quite happy to go back to Foxtel if it doesn't work out, I'm not anti it like others on here, and can get a reasonable deal if I time it right.
-
God help me but I actually hope quade plays well tonight

Good start!
-
Just tuned in. So what happened to Pocock? Is he going to blame a Kiwi for his HIA again?

Churlish

Actually perhaps Pocock should think about giving it away? His neck and his head must be fucked.
That was an innocuous elbow and it floored him. Too many hits
-
Brumbies haven't looked too bad so far.
-
Dominating the game so far
-
And then...
Rebels score despite trying their best to bomb it
-
P'cock failed his HIA.
-
Liking this brumbies #8
-
And as I say that the Rebels score 2 tries haha
-
Geez, easy try for the Rebels.
-
Not sure that was a knock-on. Would have been a good idea to have it checked by the TMO ...
-
Quade took the line on at pace! First time ever!
-
Great try from Rangi.
Rebels the much better team since the break; converting the third scoring opportunity into points. I suspect the wind has something to do with this change.
-
Cooper is having a great game. Unbelievable he has been out of SR for a whole season and just slots back in like that.
-
How did that Rebels player not score that try?
-
@Stargazer Good ankle tap from Kuridrani.
-
Reckon Marto is a closet fan of Cooper?
-
Good to see the Rebels competing at lineout time on their own line. More teams should follow suit.
-
Great try. It looks like the ponies are going to lose at home.
-
@Bones 'The best performance by an Aussie flyhalf in the last 3 years'. He's been decent but Marto's going a bit over the top about him.
-
Billy Meakes has been very solid at 12 for the Rebels like he was last season. Not saying he's the answer for the Wallabies but he's certainly worth a try for them there.
-
Decent performance by Quade. Maddocks is looking classy on the right flank. Have to say it's been a fairly enjoyable game to watch, promising signs for the Aussie conference.
-
I'm actually really enjoying this game.
-
Brumbies rumble over and we have a grandstand finish
-
Brumbies exceptional at mauling.
-
Well played Rebels, enjoy the much needed bye next week.
-
@mariner4life It was a good game. Rebels after the 20 minute mark controlled things and probably deserved to win by more.
