Reporter who was at the scene says Anning supporters - 5 or 6 of them - were on the kid putting knees and elbows into him.
I disagree with the egging. I understand Anning reacting the way he did.
5 grown men pinning a kid down with a choke hold, knees and elbows? Nah.

That's a different issue.
Which should be dealt with separately.

What if we think the kid is - clearly - in the wrong, but still want to high five him? Does that makes us Twats too? If so, I’ll wear that.
High five him through the glass.
-
They'd both be charged in Japan; no self-defence law. If you assault someone, you'll be in a cell.

You won't be alone.
More for the politics thread, but Anning is only in Parliament because he replaced a guy who got 77 votes, but made it in on One Nation's popularity in QLD.
Anning himself scored 19 votes.
He got sworn in, promptly left One Nation, joined another party (Bob Katter) made some appalling remarks and was booted from there.
He's effectively an independent who is only in Parliament due to a (EDIT) party he no longer represents.
The system is well broken.

He's a pig of a man, but you can't do shit like that and the kid deserved to be filled in. Be nice to know the political views of this little hero as well. I'm guessing they're closer to antifa than mainstream. Put them both in a cell together.

The kid was released without charge

@ACT-Crusader when the police showed up apparently the kid said "here's the bacon to go with the egg" and the cops laughed.

A 17 year old egged the Aussie senator. His cronies went overboard when restraining him. Like he was one of Steve Irwin's crocs.
Horrified and angry to see this. Wasting a perfectly good egg on a piece of shit. That egg could have been poached, scrambled....
-
@Sneakdefreak nah bro. Deconstructed eggs are all the craze....

Controversial opinion time. It's just a name. If it goes anyway to start the healing in the community I could not give two fucks what we call our rugby team. As long as we keep winning of course.

I'll admit I read no more than the headline, but PLEEEEASE fuck off ...

@mooshld I’ll obviously have a problem if there is a name change....
Yeah you'll be fucked

@Bones said in Christchurch Gunman in Mosque:
@mooshld does anyone really conjure up images of what actually happened when they hear the name though? I hear crusaders now I think rugby team.
Honestly I have no idea but as I said it's such a tiny thing is anyone going to get that worked up about it. 23 year heritage hell I've got socks older then that!
