@Bovidae I agree. Boshier can play any of the loose positions can't he?

@Yeetyaah He is best suited to 6 or 7. I don't think he has ever played no.8.

    Stuff

Along with re-signing with NZR and the Chiefs, he's also recommitted to Waikato through to 2021.

Maybe planning on a Japanese contract in the off season?

The article on the Chiefs website (https://www.chiefs.co.nz/news-item/anton-lienert-brown-recommits-to-gallagher-chiefs) says ALB has only played 19 games for Waikato, and those would have been in 2014-15. ABs don't play for their province anymore so any overseas contract would have to be in the SR window.

The idea of another Chiefs limited jersey is exciting and scary. Scary for my wallet. Paid $200 for last years heritage jersey.

I certainly wouldn't want to pre-order a jersey without seeing what it looks like first.

@Bovidae yeah you can't preorder it yet. And same, the heritage jersey anouncment came out of nowhere with the photo of it.

    @Yeetyaah

Those attending the match will be the first fans to see the new limited edition jersey and Chiefs members will be given an exclusive pre-sale on Thursday to order before seeing the new strip.

@Bovidae I said you can't preorder it yet. You'd think they'd just let the public see it first like they did last year.

    Great news about Laulala.
It’s only a matter of time before the patched up front row runs out of steam

@Bovidae Hadn't noticed before that Ross Filipo is back in the country and coaching at the Chiefs. Thought he was still coaching in Japan.

@Stargazer Filipo was coaching Waikato in the CCCC, and might still have a house in Hamilton. I know some of the out-of-town Chiefs used to live there when he was overseas.

As to the team, excluding all of the BOP players unavailable, I expected Vaa'i to be involved, Finau as well. Maybe he is injured. I also don't remember Sullivan playing fullback before.

@Bovidae I'm glad Falcon finally gets to play a game at 10.

No Sam McNicol. You'd have to assume that if he had been healthy, he'd play at least in the curtain raiser? I hope the concussion symptoms haven't returned.

    That makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if Samipeni Finau is playing for the opposition.

This crusading lawyer should be solving cases and coming up with last minute evidence to exonerate guys who looked completely guilty of murder beforehand. Great TV name!
