Plummer & Manu back from injury
Massive test for Kurt Heatherley & Peter-Chanal Tagaloa
Disappointed that Abel is on the bench for this one
-
@African-Monkey agree, looks better.
Akira looked fat last week. Not sure what the conditioning is doing, but he looked Weepu-like. GOt to sort that out to play good Super and get into the AB frame next year
-
Excited to see The Wet Bandit go around at fullback. Risky though. Sink or swim time.
Auckland lineout could be problematic with no Lane and no Reidlinger-Kapa. Also with Abel not starting.
On the flip side that's a handy Auckland bench - other than Lane and Kirkpatrick there's some firepower there.
-
Fark it, I'm excited. Taking my boy again, day out in the shady north stand hopefully watching a win. Unbeaten this year baby!!!! Fatties up front to win it for us I hope, provided we don't make as many unforced errors as we did against Waikato.

Because Auckland have been rather unimpressive this year?
Yeah, but so have Canterbury. I guess it's going to be who de-cripples themselves first
Edit: GO THE AUKS
-
Pleased, very pleased, to see that midfield together and it should be the combination to carry us through the rest of the comp. Still a couple of selections short of our top line up though. I'd have Osborne on one wing, probably for McLeod who'd be on the bench for Finau, Will Tucker on the bench and of course Franks starting.
-
Don't forget that this is a double header with Auckland v Canterbury Farah Palmer Cup before hand. I'll be at both the games
-
@Stargazer Here's my live report from Eden Park at HT
-
@KiwiMurph Now now no dissing the king of New Brighton haha.
Finally! Sort your shit out Auckland!
-
Some patience with ball in hand would be nice Auckland.
-
Could Auckland have been any worse that half? All these dumb fucken offloads and a shit lineout costing us big time. We'll do well to come back from here.
-
Also, Choat's defence off the scrum has been poor. I know he's not a blindside but he's been caught out twice at scrumtime.
