Forward pass. Scotland should be a bit sour that Barnes spotted it though.

I want Ireland to win for no other reason than I think the scots will give us less problems in the quarter ,

But any other day I would be saying go Scotland

Nah fug that, I'd love us to paste Ireland in a quarter.

I have a theory the more tough games you play in consecutive weeks , the closer you get to a poor performance, an easy quarter will be a blessing I reckon .

    Ummm... Easy?

Easier , Scotland are more likely to accomodate us in an open game style

Scotland in a QF will be easy. They look terrible

Scotland are willing with the ball in hand but they have no crispness or flow to their game.

When they turned the ball over after the break they had a great opportunity at a counterattack, but they can't string accurate passes together.

    Did Hansen not say
At the last WC teams have 2 big ones in a row in them very hard to get up for the 3rd game
    And performance drops off dramatically.

Sure ok, so both teams playing in the final are doomed then I guess?

Did I hear the commentator say that Blade Thomson was warming up to come on?

Yikes. I am behind the times. I didn't realise he was playing for Scotland now.

Sad sight, Watson going off like that. I really hate seeing that during a game.

The Scottish coaches need to look st themselves. They’re playing exactly the same way as in the 6N with the same result.

That doesn’t make sense if one team has an easier QF then they will have an advantage of only a tough SF
If they both have a hard run in with 3 games it is even for both is it not ?

It's that simple isn't it. I wouldn't support Ireland otherwise.

An Ireland v SA QF clash would be great as they are mirror images of eachother with the same strengths.

Have to ask if they've regressed in the basic skills since Vern Cotter left.

Certainly, stupid nationalist pride is biting them in the arse. But, having lived in Scotland for four+ years, it doesn't surprise me

Scotland don’t know what to do with the ball other than hand it straight back to Ireland.

If Scotland don’t make any sort of comeback, we will not know anything more about Ireland than what we already do.

They have tried some things but their support play has not been good enough and Ireland have shut it down well.
