The winger was held in my book. Should not be allowed to get up like that.
The tackler released and then he got up and ran some more. Allowing that just penalises tacklers who obey the law.
Just watched the replay and they didn’t hold him. The two Samoan players fell off him.

Ref said it was an attempted charge-down and then a late tackle.
Surprised it wasn't yellow, he didn't use any arms in that late tackle.

Because he must have known when he jumped that he would land, and when he landed he would probably take out the kicker.
Sorry, but I do not accept that it is an excuse that he jumped before the kick.

Should we ban all charge downs because in theory one must be in front of the kicker to charge the ball down?
