      Brumbies
Scott Sio, Folau Fainga'a, Allan Alaalatoa (c), Murray Douglas, Cadeyrn Neville, Lachie McCaffrey, Will Miller, Pete Samu, Joe Powell, Noah Lolesio, Tom Wright, Irae Simone, Tevita Kuridrani, Andy Murihead, Tom Banks

Reserves: Connal McInerney, James Slipper, Tom Ross, Nick Frost, Rob Valetini, Nic White, Bayley Kuenzle, Solomone Kata

Lolesio hasn't played since injuring his hamstring against the Waratahs on July 18.

But the 20-year-old is so highly regarded that he was picked in Dave Rennie's Wallabies squad last weekend and has been brought straight into the starting side.

      Reds
JP Smith, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Taniela Tupou, Angus Blyth, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Liam Wright, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson, Tate McDermott, James O'Connor, Filipo Daugunu, Hamish Stewart, Hunter Paisami, Jordan Petaia, Jock Campbell

Reserves: Josh Nasser, Harry Hoopert, Ruan Smith, Tuaina Taii Tualima, Angus Scott-Young, Moses Sorovi, Bryce Hegarty, Jack Hardy

      In: Jack Hardy, Ruan Smith

      Out: Chris Feauai-Sautia, Jack Straker

        NZ Tab

        1.64 Brumbies
        2.17 Reds

Brumbies correctly favourites but Reds have a good shot. The Brumbies haven't played for two weeks and they lost that match to the Reds (7-26)

I haven't seen anything of Super Rugby Oz. But I hope the Reds win this match simply because Brad Thorn is their coach. Humble bloke, great All Black.

First front rower to pop up under pressure in the scrum is Tongan Thor, but Angus Gardner awards the Reds the penalty because he's such a good ref.

Brumbies score a stunning length of the field try - every player must have touched the ball.

Just kidding - maul from 5m out.

Something I'd like to see brought in:

If the reserves from the try scoring team run on the field, try remains unconverted and play begins at halfway with a penalty to the non scoring side.

Tongan Thor being really average. Hits ball up midfield from lineout, knocks on in the tackle. Subsequently misses tackle. Brumbies march down the field and score another try.

Reds have been playing like nervous Nellies, hopefully that try will settle them down.

He might not have if he passed it properly 😁

Start him on the wing for the Wallabies? Move him to 13 in a couple of years

                                When he's not injured.

WTF is Gardner looking at? Can't he see Thor stands up and pops first every time?

Super Rugby AU obviously isn't as concerned about cleaning out from the side.

And then they score a try from an error. What do I know.

@Bones They looked from the start like a young team with little experience playing in a final. Forced substitutions hasn't helped.

Imagine how much more effective Tupou would be if he wasn't so lazy. Footwork, try and get a weak shoulder...or just run straight into a defender.

Yeah Reds created some great opportunities in that second half but lacked the finishing polish.

JOC has shown a good steady hand during this comp. will be interesting to see if Rennie goes with him or Toomua.
