I'll most probably regret this, but could you please tell me what lies the "propoganda" media have brainwashed us with about Corbyn?

But yes I agree that he wants a more equitable Britain. A Britain where every person is as poor as the other. -
If you read my post I didn't compare the Uk to Greece.

As for belief that Corbyn is electable I now know why you support red peak . Only 20 of his mps support him because they think they have no chance of ever being in govt with a weirdo like Corbyn in charge . The older ones probably remember what life was like when Michael Foot was around . His open borders ideas have probably handed UKIP a lifeline at the expense of more labour votes especially on light of the hordes of " refugees " trying to force their way into Europe.

But just like the flag thread I fully expect you to stick your fingers in your ears and say " I'm right and despite crushing evidence to the contrary you're all wrong ". -

There's a differences between EU citizens and refugees. Corbyn is pro the UK accepting more refugees. Or at least not demonizing them.

I think UKIP is mainly pissed off about the open borders EU policy. But unless the UK leave the EU and close their borders (which would mean leaving the single market whihc will not happen even if the EU vote to leave) nothing much can be done about this fact of life.

That's such a weak answer, raise taxes to the levels he wants and watch the money leave the Uk, add emotive words like " desperate" and insinuate that all the assets were sold on the cheap . -

Huh? The UKIP want to leave the EU , I'd imagine there are plenty of labour voters who are horrified by the thought of masses of people turning up unchecked prepared to work for lower wages . Not everyone is as right on as you and Corbyn . -

Not at the taxpayers expense

He intends to fund it using interest free central bank reserves. And then the taxpayers get to own a valuable asset that if they want they could sell in the future for likely a lot more than the building cost

Both, refugees who get eu citizenship in another country and head to thd uk.

It's interesting that you enjoy taking positions like your devotion to Alby Matthewson, red peak and Cofbyn who's politics are at least 30 years behind pretty much everyone else in the west and keep saying you're right and everyone else is wrong no matter what evidence is presented to you. Senior labour figures in the Uk pleaded with labour members not to vote for Corbyn saying it was electoral suicide , but no Winger is right everyone else is wrong .

Voting for him to be leader is on a par with buying a red peak flag. -

Where is this massive house building going to take place? EnviroNazis like Corbyn mourn the loss of a single tree let alone vast tracts of forest. And his completely open door immigration policy is hardly going to help the housing shortage.

And just on that about the environment. He claims he will create 1 million green climate jobs. Do you honestly, even in your wildest fantasies, believe that is possible. -

Sorry mate, I get the feeling you don't have a clue about the realities of the money markets, which decide things like interest and exchange rates. There's no free money, and everything that is not paid for by private money is by definition at the taxpayers' expense. It's just a matter of when the taxpayer picks up the tab, not if.

Oh, and there isn't really a housing shortage in the UK is there, just in the South East.
-

I understand what money is and how the UK treasury pay their bills. You don't based on this comment. .

And your comment re investing in housing is idiotic. It's not spending on welfare so that the poor can afford to eat and pay for their power etc. This is another topic to debate. It's investing in a valuable asset that will almost certainly increase in value over time.

But the brainwashed have been convinced that a company or person running up debt is OK if this debt finance is invested wisely. But not the Govt doing the same re housing. Even though the UK Govt's deficit spending can be financed by zero interest BoE reserves. This is just a fact as is being done INDIRECTLY by QE.
-
