    I'm sure their partners do.

standing up to an employer or the government is easier than your wife

...feeling pretty good about the fact that my wife loves the AB's and she is constantly thinking im only 9 months from a call up

So tens would be BB, DM as cover, and I'd go for TJ as break in case of emergency.

Let DH focus on 12, same as Akira at 6, and let them both develop as specialists.

@kirwan agreed...so we can expect AI to start at 10 with TJ at 6?

With Richie out, if something happened to BB (and omitting the backups on tour) I've been trying to think who would be the 10 back home they could take and I can't think of one..

There are 3 capped ABs 10s on the tour, more than enough

Jordie is ahead of TJ as a 10 surely.

    We aren't playing Namibia. 🙂

BB at 10, JB at 15. DMac to cover both off the bench. SB to stay on the field this time.

@bovidae I know TJ has his detractors for obvious reasons but he might actually be better starting a game. He will never be Aaron Smith but if he keeps it in the forwards he should be fine.

    It is probably Mitch Hunt.

Bridge and Reece to start so they can be blamed for the loss this time round.

I expected to see Harry Plummer added to the squad. Maybe good for Ofa T to be training over there if level 4 continues in Auckland.

dead set, if the Wallabies can't beat that team tehn they may as well pack it in for good.

    Best hooker? not there
    Best lock? Not there
Best player and also best 9? Not there
    Best 10? Not there

3 of those are our most influential players.

Is Retallick not travelling? I thought only Whitelock was remaining behind?

I know this has been mentioned before but some of these players need some basic birds and bees lessons.

You all know when the scheduled break in the pro year is. Time your rooting accordingly. Certainly not 9 months before a tournament.

C,mon man, a man can't go without 9 months before a 3 month rugby series (which basically it is) , the ting I am disappointed in they didn't make sure their wives were bright enough to take contraception through the required period!!!!😁

Not playing much 10 in recent times. Mitch is at least in form.

Brett Cameron has he left NZ yet? Thanks Foxy.

@act-crusader better captain than a few others named. Horses for courses 🤷‍♀️

Weber has started 1 test, I can’t see how he’s even in the discussion for AB captain.

All the other names have decent AB experience on top of their provincial/franchise captaincy.

Tuipoluto, Scott Barrett, Beauden Barrett, Taylor, Savea, Retallick, Coles, Perenara - all played 40+ tests.

I’d give it to Beauden Barrett. Guaranteed to start, highly likely to play 80, and has captained the ABs previously.

Luke Whitelock captained the All Blacks in his second game.

    But he has legendary status….

but in all seriousness that was a game not a test match and an AB lineup that had AB stalwarts like Matt Duffie, Tim Perry, Dom Bird, Sopoaga, JTA!

    Sopoaga played well in Black!

Amazing that he only started 2 tests.

A magnificent debut at Ellis Park in 2015 being one.

The other being probably his worst game in black - at 10 at Suncorp in a dead rubber Bledisloe in 2017.

Obviously a lot of focus on the Boks and Argie but i'm interested how ABs handle the Perth test. ABs often falter in these dead rubber Bledisloe tests.

If his first was magnificent, and his second wasn't then you're probably right.

Haha. He also played 14 tests off the bench for the ABs which I was factoring in to the Brisbane performance.
