Lions and England players will be told to leave club.

First bit is confirmed, second bit not. Farrell had said he'll stay, allegedly.

Interestingly they aren't supposed to be relegated until the following session, accordin the rules. But they took relegation for this upcoming season rather than open their books

Yes, Kieran Read and - unknown to me - NZ born Jamie Henry for Toyota and Sam Whitelock and (former Highlander prop) Craig Millar for Panasonic.

Toyota lost 20 to 40 to Panasonic.

Can’t wait to see what happens next season with respect to coverage of Saracens. Media is very very split.

The interesting thing about the Sarries saga is that they had a choice of opening the books or relegation. They chose relegation.
Now the next tier is not that strong, especially once Newcastle move up and no doubt Sarries are going to take the cost hit for a year in the wilderness. My guess is that they have 'arrangements' for key players to stay.

There is no salary cap in the second division, so they could keep them all for next year. But they won't be let back into premiership without proof of cap compliance

In amongst Liverpool/Man Yoo & Spurs this story has some currency at work today!

Although, as is the way in Britain, the media are trying to be the story. Apparently Walrus has been going full nuts on all 'n sundry who are sullying the great name of Saracens. Paul Williams, who is probably the most neutral, calm, balanced reporter in the business has apparently had legal action threatened on him by Jones!! If you have a look at his twitter timeline, it basically confirms this (he doesn't name SJ, but its never denied either when every response is basically saying it's him). Jones has essentially nailed his colours to the mast 100% that this just a other clubs conspiracy against them. And of course, he has his sources but needs to ensure his legal team is fine before he goes public etc.

The whole thing is really quite unbelievable.

Yeah, I read this last night and my first thought was that it didn't actually seem too bad what Saracens had done.
