New cars and a new race director. No doubt as a result of last years championship decider, the fallout has Masi replaced.

Two new race directors I think. They will apparently alternate.

Not quite 2022 but newsworthy all the same.

Maybe he's just singling out the guy for the sins of his country

Clarkson being a fluffybunny? No.....

Unsurprisingly Mazepin and Haas have parted ways.

Couldn't get worse results if they did.
May make it easier for Andretti to buy a team.

I also wonder, Haas is a USA team. I wonder what contract lawyers think of contract termination due to your country invading another one? Maybe it was in there as a clause?

Dunno about that Christian …. I’m one of your biggest supporters but this smells a bit …

Dunno. I never read the article. Just sounding off and uninformed

I bet Bernie would vote for that

Ferrari 1st & 2nd, Red Bull looking strong until mechanical issues late in the race, Mercedes a little sluggish
-
@duluth Third and fourth places are better than 2 x DNFs, although I do agree with your observations of the Mercedes cars as they currently are. No doubt the engineers are working furiously to fix the problems so we should see some improvement in the future. Maybe next week might be a bit early but there will be a solution sooner rather than later if history is anything to go by.

Be good to see Ferrari do well again.
Mercedes will of course fight back stronger which I am completely torn on.
Having watched 3 seasons of F1 Drive to Survive last week, I have really warmed to Hamilton. He's really well spoken, eloquent, thoughtful and comes across so well. I've properly misjudged him. The flip side applies to George Russell. He's a complete fluffybunny and I hope fails badly.
Gutted for Red Bull & stoked for Haas. Guenther Steiner musthave been brilliant last night!
-
@majorrage McLaren might be rather disheartened also.

Yeah, McLaren were shit. Like really shit.

Liam Lawson had a fine weekend, getting two podiums including a second in a crazy feature race in F2. The action is so exciting in the lower formula
-
The Guardian: Wolff admits Mercedes are not in running for F1 titles after Bahrain blows.
-
@bones ~5% of the season and he's calling it already.

Liam Lawson wins a race, this time the sprint race in Jeddah

Hamilton didn’t make it out of q1 yesterday …. Russell did ok tho.
Awesome first pole for Perez.
Nasty crash for Schumacher seems he’s ok tho

Fun battle between Leclerc and Verstappen again.
The 2022 cars being able to follow closer has helped a lot. Maybe they need to dial back DRS now?

I was thinking about this too. But decided na .. you still need to catch up to get within a second.
Some brilliant racing in the first two events so far this year.
Interesting how much stronger Russell was over Hamilton on the Merc. Seems he's really struggling to get to grips with the car.

Nice to be able to watch during daylight hours.

Helps that Mercedes have been shit tho...
-
