exactly!! and the more you bet, the more you win!
Nothing sucks more than being on a $2.40 favourite that gets tipped over. Nothing is better than being on the outsider that tips over a $2.40 favourite!

a lot are, but you get a couple in the day...
I very very rarely bet on anything paying less than $5. Which is why i haven't been as affected by the number of favourites getting tipped over this spring as some of the real punters have been

Sweet, I bet $10 to win & place on Savaheat, my pick of the kiwibreds in the first at Flemington and he stormed home, paid handsomely helping me recover everything I lost Tuesday.

I want to wager on the only Kiwi in Race 2, but she’s a first-time starter who’s dropped from 20/1 down to 7/1 (probably b/c the punters see the “(NZ)” next to her name). Too short for my blood, ‘tho I may be tempted to drop a $2 WP ticket on her... She was a $500K purchase at Karaka this year.

i can't even call it educated guesswork.
It does mean i do really shit on days when favourites clean up. like every day in Cairns recently

I put 2$ to win & place on the Kiwi, was 17/1 at post, just nipped at the wire. Looks like a good horse, comms are talking him up. BAAQYAH (NZ)

(Hooroo alert: I just noticed at least nine of these Race 3 starters are listed as greys; is this an all-grey race??)
