Canterbury v Northland
-
This is the side I have heard, injury enforced changes.
Front Row: Jared Adams, Bruce Kauika-Peterson, Corey Te Whata-Colley
Locks: Liam Hallam-Eames, Alan Craig
Loosies: Rob Rush, Matt Matich, Jonah Mau'u
Halves: Lisati Milo-Harris, Rivez Reihana
Midfield: Blake Hohaia, Tamati Tua
Outside Backs: Heremaia Murray, Pisi Leilua, Jone MacilaiBench: Ross Wright, Esile Fono, Conan O'Donnell, Josh Goodhue, Jaycob Matiu, Sam Nock, Kalani Going, Tama Anderson (debut)
No idea who captain is, maybe Matich? Is also his 50th.
I'd have thrown Tama in the deep end and started him, kid looks the business.
Not an ideal game to have so many injuries for, but guess it is a game we were always slated to lose anyway, so yeah.
-
@taniwharugby wait so Robinson came off of the bench and then injured himself?
-
@KiwiMurph think he may have taken a knock at training early this week.
But yeah, not great for his aspirations of higher honours how he keeps getting injured.

Confirmation of the side listed above:
-
Graphic of side and confirms Matich will captain.
-
@taniwharugby hearing that the Crusaders have asked for the stats on Heremaia Murray apparently Robertson is very keen
-
@Steven-Harris
Do you think Northland have a good chance of signing him up with this in mind Steve? -
no Josh Moorby so I had to pick another 1st try scorer, don't let me down Bridgey 🙂
-
@fidz71 i think Heremaia is a good chance of being picked if not by the saders but any of the other franchises ..
-
@FakatavaAllBlack def let him down George!!
-
Good start Pisi
-
Good start Northland

Like the structure we play with this season.
-
Bridge in front of kick again
-
Northland leaving a lot of points on the table.
-
Was an OK option but hands was the best with 2 on 1

Except Heinz is so slow, that maybe not!
-
Dammit burke
-
Well Cantbas attack is so laboured, but with their scrum dominance, they eventually got there
-
@Machpants not sure the scrum is that dominant (yet) basically Marshall called it.

That's 5 scrum penalties against NLD? That's pretty dominant
-
@Machpants most were down the other end, at least one of which was 50-50.
-
Now THAT'S a try!
-
-
Sensational try
-
Brilliant
-
-
Rahter helped by Heinz's ineptitude, but I'll take it!
-
Beautiful try.
-
