So we picked up more injuries either during or after the win on the weekend: Liam Hallam-Eames and Jack Goodhue unavailable this week, both big losses.

    Team I have heard:
    Adams, Moulds, Lemisio
Caird, Jurlina (made his debut off the bench on Saturday)
    Rush, Matich, Mau'u
    Milo-Harris, Reihana
    Hohaia, Tua
    Murray, Moorby, Rush

Kauika-Peterson, Cobb, Te Whata- Colley, Sweetman, Woods, Hape, Hawkins, Ranger

Odd they have decided to put Julina at lock, he is a loosie and probably not that tall for a loosie, while they have a specialist lock in Sweetman on the bench.

This game is one we need to step up and prove last week wasnt a fluke, rather than do what we would typically do after we win a game few expected us to, then lose a game we shouldnt.

With Craig likely done for the season, bit surprised they didnt call up one of the dev side locks to play if they dont want to start the only other fit lock in the squad, Sweetman.

@taniwharugby bit of a surprise for me given that Sweetman was in the initial Taniwha squad and Jurlina who is a 6/8 came in as replacement cover ..
In terms of height Jurlina is around 6’2 ,Sweetman 6’3/6’4
Information I am getting Jurlina has a better understanding of the lineout calls .
Good they also have Rory Woods on the bench

Keep the attitude the same as last week and we'll win.. do what we often do after a win, and we'll lose a pivotal match.

I hope the right version of us turns up!
These are the ones we need to nail, as often in season wash ups they become big regrets. Don't let it be a coulda, woulda, shoulda...

Jurlina at lock had me scratching my head, would have probably started Sweetman. To me, Jurlina is purely a loosie and not big enough for lock..but we will see I suppose. Looking forward to see Rory Woods get a run, good to see these younger dudes getting their shot.

Radio commentators saying Stan van der Hoven is South African. I guess they only saw his name and didn't do any research?

The comment was made when they said that Manawatū had brought in a whole group of South African players.

I know they picked up Momsen in the MLR and, of course, there's Viljoen. Not sure they have more South Africans?

Manawatū the most enterprising team thus far and rewarded with a try. TK Howden.

Manawatū's attack is reasonably good, but their defence is terrible.
