    Josh Moorby (Ngāi Maniapoto/Waikato/Hurricanes)

    Doubt he'll play much. Top 14 starts a few weeks after the NPC

    If he does have to wait out his NZ contract, he wouldn't want to pick up an injury

    Is Johnny Lee not wanted by Canterbury? Or another way of sharing players?

    Canterbury are trying to develop Torian Barnes plus they have Christie,Kellow,Gardiner,Harmon,Grace hoping to get him some NPC time in Ta$man.
    Cooper Roberts is still down in CHCH playing club rugby as well.

    @Bovidae Can't tell you sorry.

    The Facebook post says:

    We’re delighted to welcome three new development players to the Mako in 2024.
    It’s been a big year for Matt Lowe, Cooper Grant, and Johnny Lee - all three were part of the U20 Super Rugby title with the Crusaders, and all three are currently playing for New Zealand at the U20 World Cup.

    Matt brings tenacity to the loose forwards, as displayed throughout his time at Nelson College.

    Johnny joins us from Canterbury, where he was captain of the Crusaders U20s and will provide plenty of hard working highlights at the side of the scrum.

    Cooper Grant is an exciting first five who excelled in multiple sports while growing up through Nelson College.

    We’re excited to welcome these three exceptional young men into our environment when they return from South Africa.

    Southland could be lining up for its best season in years. Sean Withy, Mitch Dunshea and Byron Smith being the main big additions. Sevu Reece is a paper signing, won't be seen on the field. Hopefully Josh Augistine gets a run out wide. Michael Manson will be back after a MLR season. Not suggesting they will knock over big teams, but they could potentially win three or four games

    Hope the lad is alright. Was listed as personal reasons for pulling out of the Landers. Seems unusual for a player of that age to just walk away from the game. Is it his younger brother who is tearing it up for Nelson College at 10?

    @SouthernMann I thought Connor played really well when he was here in Wellington would’ve definitely had him over KHP last year.
