We are #1 !!
-
First time we've been #1 in any format I believe. Definitely a golden period for the BCs

Nice photobomb from Sodhi and Ronchi too.....

I was with you on Ronchi, but Sodhi was excellent on the subcontinent...
-

Yep Sodhi did very well when he played, Ronchi must be gone now though.
-

Great to see.

However, to be consistent, I've never rated international T20 and have never ever looked at the ratings. I also think the current "world champions" are a joke of a team.

But if we're #1....celebration time!!!
-
The current world champions are made up of a team of T20 specialists. They were deserved winners without a doubt.
-
Not in T20s they aren't. In tests absolutely, and should probably lose their status as a test nation. But they are fricken hard to beat in T20s. They won the thing without their premier batsmen firing a shot in the finals.
-
Lol, I think it shows that winning a T20 tournament requires T20 specialists. Which is what basically the entire WI team is.

Define "cricketer"

The guy that invented cricket max?

Yes. And was a brilliant cricketer who saw an opportunity to design a game that any gumby could play

Top 10 T20 batsman... not seeing a lot of gumby's

1 889 V. Kohli

2 803 A.J. Finch

3 754 M.J. Guptill

4 750 J.E. Root

5 741 F. du Plessis

6 719 K.S. Williamson

7 713 A.D. Hales

8 696 C.H. Gayle

9 677 H. Masakadza

10 674 Mohammad Shahzad

Tho' I do confess to having no idea who Masakadza is... but Kane, Kohli & Root will all be legends
-
I wonder why Steve Smith, Hashim Amla, Younus Khan and Adam Voges aren't in the top 10? I mean they are all top 10 test batsmen, and well any gumby can play T20, so I can't understand why they wouldn't do well in that format?
