Very confident Ponga will leave the Knights.
That team is a walking disaster.

Titans are also not very good. Read somewhere the other day that no coach has gone on to head coach at a another NRL side after leaving them.

Roosters another awful side and that win in Round 2 was a fluke. Still not convinced on Penrith's chances of a 5 peat but a much needed win.

Reece Walsh is the most overrated player in the NRL. Meanwhile Halasima is the next big thing, also be typical if he's somehow at the Storm or Panthers in a few years.

So let me get this straight — Galvin, a fully grown man offered a contract at a million bucks a year to play professional rugby league, is now claiming he’s being bullied and that his workplace is unsafe? This is the same country that sent teenagers to Gallipoli with rifles and tin helmets. Now we’ve got footy players with sports psychologists and media teams crumbling over harsh words and sideways glances of teammates in the sheds. Mate, if this is your idea of trauma, you wouldn’t last five minutes in a real job. Soft fluffybunny.

The media have always had it in for the Tigers, so now that they've finally stood up for themselves and tried to force thos locker room cancer out of the club with his stupid management team, sections of the media have come up with this bullying claim when he and his team have done nothing but belittle the Tigers as a club for the last season and a bit, and now his management team have gone with the narrative of him getting bullied now that the Tigers have told him to fuck off.

Good riddance, Parra or the Dogs can have him.

Funny how the return of 1 player can all of a sudden make a team go from looking like spoon candidates to now looking like an 8 side like the Eels are right now.

Mitch Moses hard carries the Eels.

    Mental weekend all around

First St George go to Brookvale and hang on for a win
Then the Bulldogs blank another side
Melbourne were beating the piss out of the Dolphins in Brisbane until they weren't, and the Dolphins score 40 unanswered points.
Saturday the Wahs kick a 50m penalty goal to win in GP
Penrith bounce by hammering the Roosters
Canberra continue on their merry way, while it's clearly not going well on the GC
Newcastle managed 14 points which ius huge for them and still get beat by 20 because this week they forgot to tackle
And of course Mitch Moses returns like he's fucking league jesus and gets the eels off the mat.

The NRL is always pretty close, but this year is quite ridiculous.

Upsets everywhere but in a strange way you could see some of these happening even if unlikely

Weird seeing the Warriors sitting in the top 4, as while they’ve won some games, they are hardly setting the world on fire.
Probably says a lot about the rest of the teams who are also very inconsistent.

Big game for the Warriors this week, if they want to be serious top 4 contenders they need to put away the Knights who are really struggling to put enough points on the board to win games.

You'd do well to lose to the Knights these days.

Dylan Lucas is back, he is the sort of attacking foil that will allow Ponga multiple options rather than just one and have such shot Newcastle down subsequently easily, they havent won a game since he was injured.
Yes we are favourites, but this also smells like a potential boil over

With CNK extending his deal that probably puts an end to Ponga rumours unless CNK wont be fullback moving forward

Bulldogs have had a soft start to the year and Broncos are showing them to be absolute pretenders

These conditions should play in to their hands and they are getting flogged

That should be a clear penalty - water carrier interfering with the play.

Lost their heads out there too with the amout of high shots they gave away. Should shut their fans up for a bit too, you forget how annoying they are after they've been so shit for so long up until last year.

    Warriors sign Super League star

    Warriors sign Super League star

Morgan Gannon has signed with the Warriors until the end of the 2028 season.

Do we need him? I see he says it's not about the money, I certainly hope they didn't overpay him like that English fullback we bought years ago. He wasn't worth it

    NRL Week 8: Binaapolooza

18! 18 fucking sin bins. In the immortal words of LL Cool J, don't call it a crackdown, it's been here for years.

We started with the Broncos firmly putting the Bulldogs back in their box. And there were bins all over the fucking place. Tupouniua should have been sent off for his knees (after already being binned). Three Bulldogs got decent bans as they went the biff after getting reamed by some seriously good wet weather attack from teh Broncos. Reece Walsh better learn to Q-Cup.
ANZAC day saw the Roosters hammer the Dragons, which in most years would look right, but this year the Dragons were significantly higher on the table. They are building a pretty decent side for the future at the Eastern Suburbs, especially once they buy some high quality free agent.
The Warriors won a game they were supposed to. We actually dominated and should have won by more. The knights are complete ass.
The Storm made very hard work out of beating the Bunnies. Sort of like the Warriors, they bossed the game but never put it on the scoreboard.
Saturday night the Cowboys eliminated the Titans from the competition, and i reckon Des is in the hottest seat in the comp. They are no better than they were under their old coach, and Des has not managed to get them to be able to exist in the grind. Not surprising when they play with fullbacks everywhere instead of real halves. I still don't know what to make of the Cowboys.
Hey everyone look! the Panthers are last on the table! lol. It's gone very wrong for Penrith this year. Yes they have lost players, but they guys they have left are either hurt, or down on form, and the backups that looked ready to step in have regressed badly. Manly won on the road which is a huge shock.
Yesterday the Raiders were down a lot, and then won by fucking heaps.
The last game of the round was incredible. Tigers were up and then just ran out of steam as the Sharks finished all over them. It was last ditch try saving tackles everywhere as the punch drunk Tigs held on for golden point by the skin of their teeth. And then GP was hilarious until the Tigers won on a penalty. Great game, great result for the Tigers, and another nail in the "nicho hynes is not him" coffin

And so we move to Magic Round, which is fucking awesome.

But, there has to be a few worries about the state of Suncorp. It looked like absolute shit on Thursday night, and if it doesn't stay dry this week, i wonder what the field will look like come the last game of the weekend?

I am heading down for the Saturday game to watch the Wahs v the Cowboys, a game i reckon we start favourites.

Very close to first Origin namings as well.
